 GET CERTIFIED WITH CCHI

  • Flexible hours and time depending on the student's preference and monthly trainer schedule.

  • This training incorporates two highly effective ways of learning objectives: individual self-paced and one-on-one coaching with a trainer.  Flexible schedule on weekdays, and after hours.  The attendee will be able to log into the SFAA Online Scheduler to schedule their online meetings with the trainer in Google Meet when this is required by the module they are studying.

  • Duration: One week, five weeks, three months, or six months.

  • No software or download is required, the student just need to have Internet access and a Gmail account.

The curriculum includes nine quizzes, nine homework and four self-assessments.

The Exit Written Exam and Exit Oral Exam are also online.

After the attendee has passed the SFAA oral and exit final exams online, the attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate of completion is proof of medical interpreting education and the attendee will become a qualified healthcare interpreter who is eligible to take the CCHI certification. The attendee will have the professional knowledge to work as a qualified healthcare interpreter after they have finished the 40 hours training.

Please be aware: If you read about any online or onsite program in the market that is offering a 40 or more hours training "certificate" (including universities), please note that this is just a certificate of completion (not a national certification or license). It does not mean that you become a certified interpreter, as these programs also only satisfy the eligibility requirements to take the CCHI tests. www.cchicertification.org
