 on-site Healthcare Interpreter Training Program IMIA-CMIE 

in the state of Texas​ and U.S.​

The curriculum was designed by Waleska Ghini for bilingual Healthcare Professionals pursuing to become Qualified Healthcare Interpreters with a complete and accurate communication with LEP patients, beside of their Healthcare careers or looking to obtain the Healthcare Interpreter Certification, and bilingual students pursuing to become a Qualified Healthcare Interpreter or Healthcare Interpreter Certification.

We are the first and only one-on-one on-site Healthcare Interpreter Training Program

Fixed training schedule depending on monthly trainer availability. 

Time: Eight Hours per week.

Duration: Five weeks

The on-site training may be provided at the office located at 2602 Bridgeway Ct. Austin, Texas 78704.

​The instructor onsite will implement auditory, visual, and kinesthetic activities that include PowerPoint presentations, videos, illustrations, microscope, pictures, printed manual program, Anatomy-Physiology for Interpreters in Healthcare textbook.  The student will receive the printed manual program and textbook during the first day of training.In addition, homework, self-assessments are provide in person following the curriculum . The quizzes will give at the end of each module during instructor/student session at the office.  The homework needs to be returning the next scheduled training.In addition, the student will need to sign the trainer-tracking log every time that instructor/student will meet at the office. In addition, the student will need to sign the trainer-tracking log every time that instructor/student will meet at the office.

The Exit Written Exam is provided at the office.The Exit Oral Exam is scheduled and recorded through WebEx Cisco System. The instructor will play LIVE broadcast the test and the student will respond orally. The system should be recording the session all the time.

​The Exit Exams are scheduled one week after the 40 hours of training is completed.
